Mantra is a set of particular words in a particular configuration and rhythm by chanting which one can fulfil one's wish.
Tantra means a method to perform a worship in a systemised way.
Yantra is a geometric figure inscribed on a metallic plate or paper and is the confluence of the powers of the concerned God.
When a Mantra is chanted according to the proper Tantra, the sound vibrations gather force from the Yantra and after reflecting from its surface spread out into the universe and reach the concerned God. These vibrations come into contact with the form of the God, gather divine powers and blessings from Him and return to the Sadhak (person chanting), thus instilling divinity into him and giving him power to achieve supernatural feats.Thus, to achieve totality of life three ingredients Mantra, Tantra and Yantra are essential because all three are supplements of each other. This is the Science.Vigyan means science in Hindi Language.
The aim of life is to keep rising high, to achieve great heights and to keep attaining success. But this is easier said than done. For achieving totality i.e. Dharma(righteousness), Artha (wealth), Kaam (pleasures) and Moksha (salvation) ; and for attaining fame, respect and success in one's field of work one needs Divine assistance, which can only be obtained with the help of Mantra-Tantra and Sadhanas.
Indian knowledge had proved the mettle of its superiority long back and even in the modern scientific times its significance remains unmitigated. This rich heritage, was for selfish interests, presented in a very ugly and distorted form before the society; so much so that the words like Mantra & Tantra became synonyms of fear for the common folk. Thus due to ignorance Tantra became a tabooed and much dreaded word in society and people became petrified just by hearing about it. The common man thinks that a Tantrik is a person who drinks liquor, smokes opium, abuses everyone, has large redshot eyes, one who can kill anyone and who always remains engaged in evil works.
Nothing is further from the truth. Such people are imposters, they are not Tantriks. Tantra actually means accomplishing Mantra Sadhana in a very systemised way. If there is a Mantra then the process of its use is Tantra. Tantra is the way to perform a Sadhana(meditation) in a proper and correct manner. The method or way to achieve totality in Sadhana is Tantra.
True knowledge knows no bounds and this is especially true about Indian knowledge of Sadhanas (meditation), Yoga & philosophy, which has been illuminating the path of world peace and brotherhood since ages. In fact, these principles make it more a system of life, than mere knowledge.
The ancient Indian sages and ascetics had achieved full perfection and harmony with the nature, and they could perform seemingly impossible feats. The Ramayan, Mahabharat and other Indian texts are full of such examples, but today the so-called "rational" mind dismisses them as mere myths and superstition.
Most of the true knowledge has been lost due to foreign onslaught over the past millennium. The common man goes to a temple or ashram, sings some hymns, touches the feet of some Swami who nods his head, charges huge fees as "Dakshina" and assures positive results. Then he merely recites mugged up verses and mantras without producing the desired results. Upon failure and having become thoroughly dejected, the common man dismisses all ancient Indian spiritual sciences as hoax and swindle.

MAN OF THIS AGE-GODFATHER OF EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING
In the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan state of India, there lived a woman who was known all around for her gentleness and very good conduct. Once, Lord Narayan appeared to her in dream in all his brightness and said, “Good lady, in a week’s time from now I’ll be born as your child. Please name him Narayan, ok!”. What the lord told the woman in her dream came true. The woman brought a luminous child to bed.
The twenty first day of the month of April 1933 dawned in new redness and with joy for everyone. The villagers were singing & dancing. It seemed nature herself, overwhelmed with joy, spreading streaks of divine light all over. In short, an atmosphere of welcome to a great godly event had mystically emerged. Amidst all this a child is born, at 10:21 in the morning. Father Pandit Multan Chand Shrimali and mother Rupa Devi are struck by a happy, surprise and named the baby “Narayan”.
Narayan goes growing up. His activities show sign of divinity and extraordinary powers. Right on the twenty seventh days after his birth a big snake spreads its hood over the child‟s head and hisses. Frightened the mother, she prays to the snake to leave her child and the divine serpent moves away wriggling. The Hindu faith accepts this serpent episode as an indication that the child is virtually divinity.
The child‟s education begins. His maternal uncle Ram Sukhaji, who is deeply learned in the Yajurveda, teaches him. He is put to school too. At the age of 5 or 6 he learns the tenets of the Vedas & the Puranas and comits hundreds of holy and philosophical verses to memory. He begins to practice Samadhi. His intellectual and spiritual sharpness astonish the people around. He is benign to all and loves even animals & birds. For all the virtues, he gets known to the village as the „saint child‟ and is loved by all.
One day, he was returning from school, on the way he saw a house on fire. The burning house had a child inside it. The mother of the child was crying for her baby calling out for help. Amidst a big crowd, no one present there dared to run into the house to rescue the child. When the school boy Narayan understands the situation, he hastens into the high flames at the risk of his life and comes safely back with the child in his arms. Narayan is badly injured and it takes him fifteen days in hospital to recover.
It was not an event for an event’s safe; it was something that truly sheds light on one aspect of his extraordinary and charismatic personality. He did what an ordinary human cannot do. For this and several other benign acts this boy got transformed into great spiritual teacher that was Dr. Narayan Dutta Shrimali, who threw himself into flaming fire for saving all humanity and each human individual.
Changes of time made material progress dominant over spiritual endowment. People began to see perfection of life in luxury and physical comfort. Consequently, began to suffer and hue and cry prevailed. Achievements in science & technology brought physical facilities and material resources but failed to provide spiritual peace & happiness.
Relieving men & women from troubles & traumas and bringing them to the right path of life became inevitable. But to do this was quite beyond ordinary human power. Mother Earth wanted some one with extraordinary
power who could lead the entire suffering humanity in the right direction. It is for this that the great Dr Naryan Dutta Shrimali was born as an incarnation of God.
The great preceptor (Gurudev) is in fact, the mahayogi, Paramhamsa Swami Nikhileshwarananda of Siddhashram, and this is his eternal individual entity. Siddhashram is a divine place where one can go to only on having attained spiritual perfection. It is somewhere in the vicinity of the great lake Mansarovar and the holy Kailash peak in the Himalayas. The place, however, cannot be seen with physical eyes nor can it be reached by using a scientific equipment. There is, of course, one medium – the spiritual height you have attained. The person who manages this place is the great venerable Swami Satchidananda Maharaj and Paramhamsa Swami Nikhileswhwaranda is his most beloved disciple. It is from this place that a nice balance is struck between materialism and spiritualism. When the balance goes bad, divine souls are sent down to the earth. It was in consonance with this master scheme that great holy personages like Ram, Krishna, Guru Gorakh Nath, and Sankharacharya got incarnated. In this iron age, the materialism spiritualism balance went off and swamiNikhileshwarananda was born.
At the age of 12 Gurudev married Bhagvati. Even after his marriage he continued his studies and also started teaching. But this ordinary way of life did not satisfy him. “My life is not only for my family, for earning my livelihood, for employment, it‟s for high attainments and for the world”, he thought. From his very childhood he was interested in delving into cores of subjects such as mantra, tantra, dhyan (meditatiaon), yoga, sammohan (hypnotism), palmistry, astrology and Ayurveda and reveal the ultimate truths inherent in them to the inquisitive world. He would ask himself questions such as „Do mantra tantra and the like have powers‟, „If they do, how can I achieve the powers and use them for the good of the society‟. He knew that life bound to the family would not help and that the great saints & sages who visualized the truths of ancient learning had done so by performing tapasya (penance) in the access remote dales caves in the Himalayan forests. So he decided to quit home and banish himself into the forest. He was at that time working as a teacher and living happily with his parents and his beautiful and gentle wife. In spite of this, he chose the life of Sanayas, which, of course, is full of pains and struggles. Thus, he decided to sacrifice his own pleasures for the happiness of mankind.
He began a hard and challenging trek over the deep jungles of the Himalayas, looking earnestly for saints performing tapasya in the stony caves. His only purpose was to get the sages and obtain from them mystic and elemental knowledge. By his undaunted and unceasing efforts he succeeded in quenching his thirst for knowledge of the truths. The saints from whose darshan he benefited were Swami Purnananda, Trijata Aghori, Swami Prabhupada, Kinkar Baba, Naga Baba and others. In the course of his quest tours, he had also came to Nepal and obtained mystic knowledge from Babas like Bhurbhuwa Baba, Pagala Baba, Tringker Swami and Kamarupa Baba.
It was on this Sanyas tour, he met the great guru Swami Sachidananda, and he regards this as the greatest achievement of his life. During the tour he thoroughly studied all the subjects such as mantra, tantra, dhyan, yoga, sammohan, astrology, palmistry, Ayurneda. Chemistry & solar science, investigated into their scientific aspects to see how man can benefit from the findings. He assimilated all the knowledge and obtaining the blessings of his great guru, he returned home and became a grihastha (entered into family life) again.
For the great venerable gurudev, who had lived long on open ground under the blue sky, it was in all ways difficult to return to family life but he did so. Gurudev was sorry that the invaluable learning which the sages, our ancestors had treasured by efforts of thousands of years was about to go extinct the posterity kept them withheld. To reach the knowledge and learning out to the society, it was imperative for him to live as part of it. That is why he chose to return to the society. Divine souls set every step and do every work for the welfare of the world.
He disproved the so called social acceptance that to be a spiritual one needs to quit home by marrying the venerable Bhagvati shrimali. Despite his conjugal life at home he remained spiritually active. He has unfolded the mystic knowledge of Bharatvarsa through books, camps, lectures and deeksha. Through out his life, he worked for human welfare by rising above psycho social complexes concerning ethnicity, communalism, religion and nationality.
He started his work with the study of astronomy. He explained the theories and methods of this ancient science of Bharatvarsh, rendering them easily comprehensible. It is particularly for this that he is counted as the topmost astronomer of the world. He has rejuvenated the system of mantra and tantra, sadhana practice. It is by his continued contributions that practice areas like palmistry, sammohan, Ayurveda, chemistry, dhyan, yoga, have regained popularity and interest in mystic studies like solar science, paravigyan, kriya yoga and kundalini shakti have revived.
He has analyzed the tenets of these studies, which are formulated in difficult sanskrit verses, in a scientific aspects in easy language. The proofs which he has given will greatly help men to solve their material problems and attain spiritual heights.
Pujyapad Gurudeva thus restored the invaluable treasure of ancient learning and scholarship for the welfare of mankind. When he saw that the society was getting gradually westernized at the cost of its glorious ancient heritage he left no stone unturned to revive and rehabilitate the society‟s intellectual spiritual heritage, including the mantra and tantra practices in its original and undefined form. In this connection, he has published a monthly magazine with the title “Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan”, which, of course, has earned a special place in the world of spiritualism. He has at the same time, established the “Siddhashram Sadhak Pariwar” and thus perpetuated the glorious „gurukul tradition‟. He has given top most priority to producing excellent disciplines. He says „A live disciple is a living book which will enlighten the age to come‟.
Perfection of life consists in a true balance of spirituality and materialism. That was what Gurudeve pursued as his ideal, and in that his material life was all perfect. Father of three sons and two daughters, he lived a successful grihastha life. He had earned M.A. degree in Hindi from Rajasthan University and the Ph. D. in the same subject from the University of Jodhapur, where he later served as the head of the department of Hindi. Many people had the honor of being his students at the University. He had a command of many languages.
Getting excellence in a particular field of learning needs whole life time. The great guru, alone, succeeded in re establishing the whole body of ancient learning in all its perfection, which proves that he was not an ordinary human.
However, for all that he did he had to suffer on his head from the ignorant society and the hypo critic clergy (religious officials). He was accused, insulted and divided. There were even conspiracies against him.
Gurudeva who endeavored to enlighten the world was himself smudged. The people only viewed him as mere flesh and blood but did not see the divinity he wore. They see him just as a scholar, writer and astronomer. It is not under the power of an ordinary human to recognize a singular person. There were, however, some people and institutions who knowingly or unknowingly, paid him their respect.
In the year 1982, the then president of India Dr. B.D. Jatti conferred on him the title of “Mahamaopadhyaya” and in 1988 the Mantra Sansthan of Ujain honored him with the title “Mantra Siromani”. And in 1989, Dr. Sanker Dayal Sharma, the vice president of India decorated him with the title “Samaj Siromani”. And in 1991, during his Nepal visit for “Viswoshanti Mahayangya and Shivalaxmi Sadhan Sivir” the then prime minister of Nepal Krishna Prasad Bhattarai had specially felicitated and honored him on behalf of Nepal. Similarly, in 1992 Sir Jagannath Anirudra, prime minister of Mauritias, honoured him with the title “Jagat guru” and in 1993 a temple of gurudev was inaugurated.
Pujyapad Gurudev made every moment of his life meaningful, eventful and human welfare oriented. He taught the society the lesson of love and fraternity and called it to fight superstition and narrow mindedness. He lifted men and women from luxuries of life and pleasures of the world enticed them to sadhana and tapahsya. He has also softened the rigours of sadnana and tapasya with the sweetness of music and dance. He has thus, shown that one could achieve spiritually and achieve godlines even along living in the life of grihastha.
Having performed all the tasks which God had assigned him and leaving the future responsibilities on the shoulders of his disciples, the great guru departed from the world at early day break on July 3, 1998. He had told his disciples that his last day on earth had come. He had also told them his body should be given a very simple funeral and that the news of his demise should remain undelivered through the media. We salute our beloved Jagadguru again and again hundreds of times.
Now, he is present in the universe as Paramhamsa Swami Shree Nikhilesworananda Maharaj (Gurudeva) and providing guidance to his disciples for the welfare of the people. The disciples get his darshan during their dhyan, Sadhna, and dreams, even they see and feel his presence and can talk to him about their problems and concerns. Any body those who have been performing sadhana can get his darshan, feel his presence and talk to him. One can experience and feel about gurudeva, who has achieved the height of Sadhan and devotion, through this one can know about invaluable things of the universe also.
It is not possible to venture describing the work done by him in the article. He has done so much work, even that could not be done by thousands of organizations together, the title “man of the age” even seems less to
him. In short, during his stay on earth he concentrated about two things: (1) to visualize the truths of ancient invaluable learning which had treasured by our ancestors, and (2) to prepare real great disciples to do every work for the welfare of the world.
His main goal was to make a real spiritual age on earth, to accomplish this task he has been providing guidance as Paramhamsa Swami Nikhilesworananda Maharaj (Gurudeva) for the welfare of the people of the world. Siddhashram Shakti Kendra finds itself blessed with opportunities to remain constant to ideals of the great gurudeva and help him in the execution of his plan for the restoration and revival of the spiritual world where humans can live in peace and happiness. This, in fact, is a matter of glory not only for the Nepalese nation but also for the entire world. Gurudeva was born not for a particular nation of religion but for the mankind as a whole. The day will come when mankind will know this.
Yadaa Yadaa Hi Dharmasya…
Thus, goes a famous shlok of Gita encompassing within its deep meaning the timely appearance of great souls, Avataars and Yug Purushs in different ages on this earth. Ages sure have differed but not the aim of these enlightened beings who by their benign presence make a herculean attempt to propel mankind to higher states of mental and spiritual evolution, by making them break free of their dogmas and false beliefs and by reintroducing them to the real science of life which is as ancient as it seems to be new every time it is rediscovered.
On 21st April 1933 in a remote village of Rajasthan divinity descended to the mortal planes in a surprisingly inconspicuous manner – an element which would later mark all his achievements. His every success would be beyond belief, yet it never robbed him of his simplicity, easy ways and frankness. Years later disciples, followers and those who knew him would wonder how he remained so unassuming and unpretentious in spite of the laurels and fame bestowed upon him.
Struggle was his constant companion on the path of life, yet no problem or obstacle could match his resilience and perseverance, as he took on the challenges of life, rising from poverty to gain the best education, a job as a lecturer and then as a professor in university, by the dint of sheer courage and hard efforts.
Such worldly success he no doubt viewed as indispensable, however he never made it the sole purpose of his life. Even as the household was celebrating his marriage at just eleven, to Ma Bhagwati Devi, who later was to be his most helpful companion and a loving mother to millions of Sadhaks, he announced his decision to leave home to explore the Himalayas for the lost sciences of ancient India.
Love and filial duty sure had a place in his heart, yet these never infatuated him or diluted his strong resolution, and ultimately he had his way. Many decades later, the Himalayas continue to echo his footsteps, his divine rendition of Vedic verses and his clarion calls as he challenged Pseudo-gurus and Sanyasis. His inquisitive spirit led him to hundred of Masters many of whom proved to be foxes in sheep-skin. Yet he did discover precious pearls, from whom he gleamed wonderful pieces of divine knowledge, which could transform the miseries and sorrows of mankind into joy of total fulfillment.
Even though bestowed with amazing powers these Yogis felt content to repose peacefully in the seclusion of mountains and jungles. But to him this was a waste of divine talent and he worked hard to gain from them all that they had. His honesty and sincerity easily won their hearts and they felt delighted to impart to him the secrets of Sadhanas, Mantras, astrology, Surya Vigyan, Paarad Vigyan and many more sciences.
They gave him much, yet it is an inviolable rule of Guru-Shishya Parampara that knowledge cannot be had free. In return Guru Dakshina is a must – in the form of service to the Guru, money or knowledge. He did Serve many masters, yet he always declared that he had limited time and he did not want to spend many years mastering just one single Mantra or Sadhana. He wished for total success and he got it. Also, these Yogis had no use for money, hence what he gave them to them is a much secret as his true identity which continues to baffle even to closest of his disciples till today.
However, one of these very savants once exclaimed, “What could I have given him? To the world it seems, and he makes it seem so, that I gave him Dikshas and Sadhanas, but I know the truth. He has very Kindly bestowed upon me spiritual success which I might never have achieved even after thousands of years of Sadhanas. I know who he is, for he very kindly revealed it to me, but I cannot tell……… Time shall do it and then the men and women of this world shall realise who had been with them and what they missed.”
Mystery continues to shroud his divine persona. He never spent years at a stretch in the Himalayas, rather he returned home from time to time to complete his education and fulfil his duties towards the family. How he alternated these roles, struck a balance between them and succeeded in both is really amazing.
Having achieved the highest level of success in the spiritual world when he finally returned to his family for good, millions came into contact with him and benefited a lot by consulting him as a Spiritual Guru, astrologer par excellence, Vedic scholar, expert of Karm Kaand and a Bestower of fruitful blessings. However, none could claim to fully know him, even though he willfully introduced himself as Paramhans Swami Nikhileshwaraanand – the most revered of Masters of the divine land of Siddhashram who had appeared in simple human form to bring about a spiritual transformation in the social circles, not just in India but all over the world.
But this introduction deepens the mystery rather than clarify it, and so do the introductory books about his life as Nikhileshwaraanand penned by his ascetic disciples who themselves are renowned for their divine powers. The mind boggles on reading about his spiritual achievements. And I believe that so depressed we are today, so much inferiority complex has been built into us by the so called modern education that it is hard to believe that all this can be true, for it seems more a description out of pages of some fantasy like Superman and one wonders if all this is mere hype.
Could be, for these are just printed words. But one is forced to withdraw one’s scepticism when one meets the common men and women who have accepted him as a Guru and also when one is thrown by destiny into his benign presence and made to experience amazing things. Guru Seems a familiar, oft-repeated title, which one feels like rejecting with disdain having read and heard of the infamous exploits of so many pseudo-spiritualists. Yet ask these disciples and Sadhaks and before they could speak their eyes, their facial expressions tell all. The tears which well up with the mere utterance of the word Guru reflect genuine love, adoration and regard. “He is a father to us,” says a disciple bringing to the mind the ageless incantation imprinted on every Indian mind-
Tvamev Maataa Cha Pitaa Tvamev……
“He is the best friend, my saviour, my diety,” sobs another in a deluge of emotions.
IS? But he is no more there! Hasn’t he left his mortal frame? For the world which views everything through the glasses of gross materialism he sure has, but how can you explain the hundreds of letters from Sadhaks and disciples pouring in every day thanking Gurudev for making a timely appearance (in physical) and saving them from danger and even death?
Thousands continue to rush to Sadhana camps which go on uninterrupted by virtue of his blessings. His words, spoken years back, suddenly flash back to the mind. “If people find it difficult to come to me, I shall go to them. I have very less time and much to achieve.”
Thus was initiated a chain of Sadhana camps all over India and even abroad to which thousands were drawn by his magnetic persona to take a dip in the holy ocean of Sadhanas. And when he felt that even Sadhanas and Mantra chanting were proving too much for the weak willed, frustrated people of the world, he started doling out his own divine energy in form of Diksha which incinerated their problems, ailments, worries and brought them wealth, success, prosperity and even spiritual upliftment.
“Devotion for the deity is important, but I don’t want my disciples to beg even before the gods. I want them to be masters of Tantra and capable of demanding and getting what they want from the gods and goddesses and even other human beings. But know it that once I am your Guru I won’t allow misuse of these powers, you simply won’t be able to. I don’t want to prepare Padampaads,” he said not once but on many occasions.
Preparing Sadhaks and disciples who could ring in a new phase of spiritual enlightenment was his aim and he started this mission by first reintroducing India to the ancient science of astrology, which had lost its foothold due to the wave of false education and propaganda of Mughals and the British. He authored no less than 120 books on astrology, a record of sorts, which brought this complex science to the reading table of the common man in a simple form. His uncannily on the mark predictions made him world famous and revived belief of millions in this predictive science. Had fame and recognition been his aim he could have continued to bask in the glory of his success as an astrologer. But no, his work was done, people once had faith in astrology and quietly he withdrew from the limelight and Presidentship of World Astrology Conference in spite of vehement protests of admirers.
Next, he aimed at regenerating a similar faith in the masses for the sciences of Mantra, Tantra and Sadhanas, which had become much maligned over the ages due to the greed of corrupt priests and pseudo-Tantriks. When he set about this task people feared and despised the word Tantra which had unfortunately become linked to vile practices like money spinning and satiation of carnal desires at the expense of the gullible and ignorant common folk.
“Tantra,” he said, “is the beauty of life. It is harmonising with nature, it is seeking the aid of spiritual, divine forces to make life prosperous, pure and better. It has nothing to do with the wrong beliefs attributed to it.”
This message he propagated through the illustrious Hindi monthly Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan which not just dispelled fear and doubt regarding these sciences through the publication of veritable extracts from Shastras, Vedas and Upanishads, but also through Sadhana experiences of his disciples who had gained amazingly much with their help. Simultaneously was launched the Siddhashram Sadhak Parivaar whose aim is to carry the torch of true Sadhana knowledge to each and every corner of not just India but the whole world through the medium of Sadhana camps graced and managed by Gurudev, and which today has branches all over India and in major cities globally.
Yet this path to success was not paved with just roses. Criticism, verbal attacks, denigrating campaigns and vile plots, however, never daunted him and accepting all challenges he had roared, “This torch lit by me cannot be extinguished. It shall continue to light new lamps and to illuminate millions of lives lost in darkness of ignorance, poverty and problems. Those who are against this mission are either ignorant or have their own axes to grind or have selfish interests in leaving the people unenlightened. I accept their challenge, for in Rajasthan they say- Maai Edaa Poot Jan, Dushman Hoi Hajaar i.e. O mother bear a son who has a thousand foes at least and who could attain to fame by fighting and defeating them.
“I want my disciples too to be fearless. I want them to have problems and enemies galore, for I have equipped them with the divine powers of Nikhileshwaraanand and they must now have the guts to face all adversities
and emerge victorious. I want to show the world that with Mantras, Sadhanas and spiritual powers even the worst of adversities can be overcome.”
Almost 20 years after he started on this mission, today Indian subcontinent is redolent with the fragrance of his success. Parched, desert like lives have been transformed into green heavens. His books on spiritualism, Sadhanas and other ancient Indian sciences (again no less than 150) are proving to be guiding beacons for millions. His voice recorded in cassettes continues to soothe disturbed lives.
“I have nothing against modern science,” he once said, “but their knowledge is limited. Spiritualism is much deeper ad greater than any science and the scientists have yet to realise this. Till they do I want this ancient knowledge to be preserved, and here science alone can help. I want the shloks, Mantras and Sadhanas which I speak or perform to be recorded and saved for the future generations, otherwise all this will be lost forever. You may not realise it but the later generations on listening to my cassettes and reading my words shall wonder who it was who assimilated so much knowledge in such a short life span.”
How true are proving his words! His recorded and printed words continue to draw thousands of new Sadhaks to the folds of the Parivaar, whose only aim is propagation of true knowledge and not fanatic belief in some set dogmas. All his life he laboured day and night to fulfill his dream of making every man and woman self dependent in the use of Mantras and Sadhanas so that they could be freed from the clutches of corrupt priests and capable of solving their problems themselves with the blessings of the Guru.
“I am right behind every Sadhak, who bestows faith in me, on the path of life. Whenever you face a problem and feel worried you just look over your back and you shall find me there guiding your footsteps.”
No wonder millions continue to experience his strength and his presence. A devout cry, feeblest of prayers, or even just a desperate call “Gurudev” and he is there to help. He continues moulding misshapen lives into perfect shape and guiding lost souls. And know it for sure that this feeling germinates not by listening to or reading about experiences of others but by own personal feelings – the gentle, elating tingle in the spine when he is subtly around or the gust of Ashtgandh fragrance broadcasting his presence or the sudden tears not just of sweet remembrance but of elation and joy which spring out without rhyme or reason. It’s love! Love with one who knows the art of turning a desert into an oasis and one who can remotely control the affairs big and small of millions even from the portals of Siddhashram. And it’s this love that bonds one to the man of this Age, who worked selflessly to make us humans truly independent. And we know that he continues his work of making us realise the true essence of the words Aham Brahmaasmi !

Buddha when leaving his mortal frame had said to his disciples – ” Apa Deepo Bhavah – be a self enlightened lamp.” Gurudev had once addressed his loved children during the last days of his Avataar as a family man, “but I don’t want you to be mere lamps so I say – Apa Suryo Bhavah – be a sun unto yourself!”
