सामान्यतः प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के मन में यह प्रश्‍न अवश्य उठता है कि –

ईश्‍वर क्या है?

देवी-देवता क्या हैं?

शक्ति क्या है?

क्या इन्हें वास्तव में पाया जा सकता है?

क्या इन्हें वास्तव में देखा जा सकता है?

क्या इन्हें वास्तव में अनुभूत किया जा सकता है?

इन सारे प्रश्‍नों के चक्कर और भ्रमजाल में कई बार तो व्यक्ति यह मान लेता है कि देवी-देवता है और सामान्य पूजा-पाठ कर वह अपने कर्त्तव्य की इति श्री कर लेता है, कई नास्तिक व्यक्ति ईश्‍वर के स्वरूप को स्वीकार भी नहीं करते हैं लेकिन एक बात तो सत्य है कि इस जगत में सभी कुछ क्रमबद्ध रूप से, विशेष नियमों से चल रहा है और इस जगत को इस श्रेष्ठ रूप में करोड़ों-करोड़ों वर्षों से चलाने वाली कोई न कोई शक्ति तथा सत्ता अवश्य है। इस शक्ति के अस्तित्व को अस्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता। इतना निश्‍चित है कि एक परमात्मा ईश्‍वर अवश्य है उसके रूप मनुष्य ने अपनी-अपनी बुद्धि से, अपनी-अपनी कल्पना से अलग-अलग अवश्य बनाए हैं लेकिन एक सर्व शक्तिमान ईश्‍वरीय स्वरूप ही इस ब्रह्माण्ड को गतिशील किये हुए है। इस स्वरूप के सम्बन्ध में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति थोड़ा बहुत जिज्ञासु अवश्य रहता है। इस जिज्ञासा के कारण ही वह अपने जीवन में इस रहस्य को जानने, समझने और प्राप्त करने का प्रयत्न भी करता है। सरल रूप में इस महाशक्ति, ईश्‍वरीय शक्ति परमात्मा को अनुभव करने का मार्ग ही आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का मार्ग है।

अध्यात्म का अर्थ है – स्वयं को जानना और स्वयं को परमात्मा की शक्ति के साथ मिला देना। भौतिक उन्नति के हजारों साधन हो सकते हैं। भौतिक उन्नति की हजारों क्रियाएं हो सकती हैं लेकिन अध्यात्म उन्नति का मार्ग बड़ा ही सरल और सीधा है। इस मार्ग पर चलने से ही सारी भौतिक शक्तियां भी मनुष्य के लिये सहयोगी अवश्य बन जाती हैं।

अब प्रश्‍न उठता है कि इस जीवन में आध्यात्मिक उन्नति कैसे प्राप्त की जाए?

इस जीवन में परमानन्द कैसे प्राप्त किया जाए?

इस जीवन में आत्म सुख कैसे प्राप्त किया जाए?

इस जीवन में क्रिया करते हुए भी कैसे निर्लिप्त रहा जाए?

इन सब प्रश्‍नों का समाधान मनुष्य को अपने जीवन में क्रमबद्ध रूप से क्रिया करने से प्राप्त हो सकता है। जिस प्रकार भौतिक उन्नति के लिये एक लक्ष्य अथवा प्राप्ति की इच्छा रखते है, उसी प्रकार आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के लिये एक लक्ष्य जिसे आत्मबोध कहा जाता है, उस आत्मबोध की प्राप्ति को लक्ष्य मानकर उस स्तर पर अवश्य पहुंचा जा सकता है।

आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के आठ स्तर हैं, आठ चरण हैं। पहले स्तर से दूसरे और दूसरे स्तर से तीसरे स्तर में प्रवेश किया जाता है। आइये देखते हैं ये आठ स्तर क्या हैं?

1. बौद्धिक ज्ञान,

2. विश्‍वास,

3. साधना,

4. आध्यात्मिक अनुभूति,

5. श्रद्धा,

6. आध्यात्मिक भाव,

7. भक्ति,

8. आत्मबोध – आत्मानुभूति।

प्रथम स्तर – बौद्धिक ज्ञान –

सामान्यतः हमें बौद्धिक ज्ञान दो माध्यम से प्राप्त होता है प्रथम है – किसी ज्ञान प्रदायक साहित्य को पढ़ने से और दूसरा है किसी आध्यात्मिक प्रवचन को सुनने से। सुनकर-पढ़कर ही व्यक्ति समझ पाता है कि उसे किस प्रकार का प्रयास करना है। उसके प्रयास की दिशा क्या होनी चाहिए? साधना की क्रिया यहीं से प्रारम्भ होती है। यह प्रथम चरण है। सरल रूप से गुरु साहित्य, गुरु ज्ञान, निखिल मंत्र विज्ञान पत्रिका अथवा कोई अन्य आध्यात्मिक साहित्य पढ़कर साधक सर्वप्रथम विचार करते हैं कि हमें किस तरह से प्रयास करना है। किस तरह से क्रिया करनी है। कई साधकों के साथ यह भी होता है कि वे गुरु का प्रवचन सुनते हैं और उनकी बुद्धि में ज्ञान उत्पन्न हो जाता है, सोचने-विचारने का भाव उत्पन्न हो जाता है।

द्वितीय स्तर – विश्‍वास –

जब आप अध्यात्म के बारे में हजारों प्रकार के तथ्य पढ़ते हैं, हजारों बातें सुनते है तो कुछ बातों पर आपको विश्‍वास होता है और कुछ बातों पर अविश्‍वास होता है लेकिन जब आपके मन में विश्‍वास का भाव धीरे-धीरे दृढ़ होने लगता है तो अविश्‍वास समाप्त होने लगता है। इस विश्‍वास के आधार पर ही आपके मन को एक प्रेरणा और एक स्पष्ट दिशा प्राप्त होती है। इस मार्ग पर ‘मुझे चलना चाहिए।’, ‘यह मार्ग सही है।’, ‘इस मार्ग में उन्नति है।’ यह तीनों भाव प्रेरणा के लिये सहायक बन जाते हैं और आपके विश्‍वास को दृढ़ से दृढ़तर बनाते रहते हैं।

तृतीय स्तर – साधना –

बुद्धि हर बात को बार-बार तोलती रहती है। लेकिन जिस दिन बुद्धि में यह विश्‍वास आ जाता है कि मुझे साधना करनी चाहिए तो बुद्धि अपने आप, आपको (साधक को) साधना-क्रिया करने के लिये निर्देशित करती है और उसमें लगा देती है क्योंकि उस स्थिति में बुद्धि व तर्क के स्तर के सारे प्रश्‍न तो गिरकर समाप्त हो चुके होते हैं। बुद्धि से निर्देश प्राप्त होता है कि जो बौद्धिक ज्ञान आपको प्राप्त हुआ है और जिस ज्ञान पर आपका विश्‍वास हो गया है। उस ज्ञान को आचरण में लाओ। बार-बार बुद्धि कहती है कि इसे सम्पन्न करना है तब मनुष्य साधना की क्रिया सम्पन्न करता है।

चतुर्थ स्तर – आध्यात्मिक अनुभूति

यह स्तर सबसे अधिक महत्वपूर्ण और मध्य बिन्दु है। इसके चारों ओर ही आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का पूरा वृत्त परिभ्रमण करता है। साधना के द्वारा ही आध्यात्मिक अनुभूति प्राप्त होती है और इन अनुभूतियों के कारण ही साधना में, ईश्‍वर में, शक्ति में और अधिक श्रद्धा उत्पन्न होती है। इस प्रकार श्रद्धा का भाव बढ़ने से साधना का भाव और भी अधिक मजबूत होने लगता है तथा नित्य नवीन-नवीन अनुभूतियां होने लगती हैं। इन अनुभूतियों के द्वारा ही साधना के उच्च स्तर की ओर आप गतिशील होते हैं। अनुभूति, श्रद्धा और साधना एक वृत्त के रूप में है, तीनों एक दूसरे से पूरी तरह से जुड़ी हुई हैं। अनुभूति से श्रद्धा और श्रद्धा से मानसिक दृढ़ता और मानसिक दृढ़ता से और अधिक अनुभूति और अधिक अनुभूति से और अधिक श्रद्धा।

पंचम स्तर – श्रद्धा

अनुभूति… अनुभूति… अनुभूति… में निरन्तर वृद्धि से श्रद्धा उच्चतम स्तर को प्राप्त कर लेती है। मानस में यह दृढ़ भाव आ जाता है कि हमारा मार्ग उचित है, श्रेष्ठ है। गुरु और ईश्‍वर के प्रति अटूट विश्‍वास हो जाता है और इस कारण साधना में और भी अधिक आनन्द आने लगता है। नवीन-नवीन अनुभूतियों से मानसिक शांति प्राप्त होती है। प्रभामण्डल विकसित होता है, चेहरे पर ओज के साथ-साथ शांत भाव का भी उदय होता है।

छठा स्तर – आध्यात्मिक भाव

आध्यात्मिक भाव का अर्थ है, अपने आसपास और अपने दैनिक कार्यों में, क्रिया कलापों में ईश्‍वर और गुरु के अस्तित्व का भान होना, आभास होना। यह आभास-भान श्रद्धा के निरन्तर और निरन्तर दृढ़ होने से ही संभव हो पाता है। हर समय यह एहसास रहता है कि गुरु मेरे साथ हैं, ईश्‍वर मेरे साथ हैं। मेरे प्रत्येक कार्य के गुरु साक्षी हैं। उनकी सूक्ष्म उपस्थिति पल-पल मेेरे साथ है। मैं उन्हें अपने मानस में निरन्तर अनुभव कर रहा हूं।

सातवां स्तर – भक्ति

जब गुरु रूपी ईश्‍वर और ईश्‍वर रूपी गुरु में भाव व्यापक होने लगता है तो साधक भक्ति के सागर में प्रवेश करता है। इस भक्ति भाव के कारण ‘तेरा-मेरा’ का भाव समाप्त हो जाता है। मैं अलग हूं और ईश्‍वर अलग है। यह भाव पूर्ण रूप से समाप्त हो जाता है। भक्ति के द्वारा ही यह अनुभव किया जा सकता है कि हम गुरु के अभिन्न अंग हैं, ईश्‍वर के अभिन्न अंग हैं। गुरु हमारे मानस में हर समय स्वयं स्थापित हैं, ईश्‍वर हर समय हमारे साथ हैं। यह भक्ति का भाव है।

अष्टम स्तर – आत्मबोध – आत्मानुभूति

ज्ञान, विश्‍वास, साधना, अनुभूति, श्रद्धा, आध्यात्मिक भाव और भक्ति की पराकाष्ठा के फलस्वरूप साधक श्रेष्ठ अवस्था को प्राप्त कर लेता है और उस अवस्था का नाम है – ‘आत्मबोध’। आत्मबोध का ही स्वरूप है – आत्मानुभूति। जब सब कुछ एक हो जाता है, हम प्रेम से ईश्‍वर के साथ मानस रूप में एकाकार हो जाते हैं। सुख-दुःख के भाव से परे हो जाते हैं। अपने आप में ही खो जाते हैं, हर समय आनन्द की स्थिति रहती है, यह समाधि का भाव है तब कुण्डलिनी के सारे चक्र जाग्रत हो जाते हैं और पारमेष्ठि गुरु से केवल सम्पर्क ही नहीं उनके साथ भाव रूप में एकाकार हो जाते हैं।

यही परमानन्द है, यही दिव्यानन्द है…

आध्यात्मिक सहयोग दें

प्रत्येक मनुष्य में ज्ञान अवश्य होता है लेकिन उस ज्ञान को उचित प्रवाह देना आवश्यक है। इस ज्ञान को आध्यात्मिक भाव की ओर ले जाना आवश्यक है। शिष्य द्वारा साधकों को मानसिक प्रेरणा देना, आध्यात्मिक सहयोग देना आवश्यक है। ज्ञानी शिष्य द्वारा सामान्य जन को गुरु साहित्य, गुरु पत्रिका प्रदान करना आध्यात्मिक सहयोग देना है। आध्यात्मिक सहयोग का तात्पर्य है खुद की उन्नति के साथ-साथ दूसरों की उन्नति के लिये भी अपने आपको क्रियाशील करना। यह किसी भी रूप में, किसी भी स्तर पर, किसी भी स्थान पर किया जा सकता है। आपके मन में भावना के साथ यह क्रिया होनी चाहिये कि मुझे गुरु साहित्य, गुरु ज्ञान, हजारों-हजारों लोगों में प्रसारित-प्रचारित करना ही है।

सदैव याद रखिये साधना का मार्ग बौद्धिक ज्ञान अर्थात् गुरु साहित्य से ही प्रारम्भ होता है। गुरु ज्ञान ही मुख्य आधार स्तम्भ है।

The Sensation of Divine Reality

Generally, this question arises in the mind of each person that –

What is God?

Who are the Gods-Goddesses?

What is power?

Can They be actually realized?

Can They be actually seen?

Can They be actually perceived?

Confused in the incessant whirlpool of these multiple questions, a normal person believes in the existence of the Gods-Goddesses, and completes his part of duties by performing worships. Many detractors do not believe in the existence of Divinity, but there is one universal truth – Everything in this universe is running through an organized process routine as per specific rules and there is certainly a strong authority governing this universe in such a magnificient manner for millions of years. We cannot deny the existence of this power. It is certain that there is a divine God and men have imagined His different forms through their varied intelligence, but an Almighty Divine Providence is directing the course of this dynamic universe. Each individual is a little bit curious about the nature of Divine form. This curiosity leads him to seek, understand and obtain the secrets of this life. Simply put, this path of experiencing this Almighty Divine power is the path of spiritual advancement.

Spirituality means – Knowing thyself and merging self with Divine. There can be thousands of different methods for physical material advancements. There may be thousands of activities for material upliftment, but the path of spiritual upliftment is very simple and straightforward. All the material energies also align for support, whilest progressing towards this path.

Now the question arises that how to acquire spiritual development in this life?

How to obtain bliss in this life?

How to obtain self-happiness in this life?

How to stay detached, while also being involved in various activities in this life?

The solution to all these questions lies in performing sequential activities in the life by the individual. As one sets a specific target for physical material development, similarly, one needs to set a similar goal called self-realization; so setting self-realization as the ultimate objective, this will certainly lead one to that stage.

There are eight stages, eight levels of spiritual advancement. One progresses from first stage to second, and then from second to the third one. Let us see what are these eight levels?

The Intellectual Knowledge,
Faith
Sadhana
Spiritual Sensation-Perception
Trust
Spiritual Spirit
Devotion
Self-Realization – Self-Consciousness

First level – Intellectual Knowledge –

Generally we receive the intellectual knowledge through two means, first- by reading a book full of information, and second by listening to a spiritual discourse. A person is able to make further plans only after hearing and reading. What should be the direction of his effort? The process of Sadhana starts from here. This is the first step. In simple terms, a Sadhak initially starts thinking about his future actions after reading Guru-literature, Guru-knowledge, Nikhil Mantra Vigyan magazine or any other similar spiritual literature. How to proceed? Some Sadhaks start getting wisdom, start thinking-analyzing, moves towards versatility after hearing Guru’s discourse.

Second Level – Faith –

When you start reading deeply about thousands of facts about spirituality, when you start hearing about thousands of such facets, then you start believing in some truths and dismiss some others. But when this faith starts deepening into confidence, then some of the distrust melts away. This confidence starts to provide an inspiration and a clear direction to your mind. “I should walk” on this path. “This is the right path”. “There is scope of advancement in this path.” All these three expressions assist to spur the inspiration and keep strengthening your faith and conviction.

Third Level – Sadhana –

The intellect keeps analyzing each fact. But when the day comes when the intellect becomes wise to believe in practicing Sadhanas, then this intellect keeps directing you (Sadhak) to perform Sadhana activities, because at that stage all the intelligence and logical questions would have been completely terminated. The intelligence directs that the wisdom which you have acquired and which you now believe in, start practicing that wisdom. The wisdom repeatedly motivates to accomplish, then the individual starts practicing Sadhana.

Fourth level – Spiritual Experience

This is the most important and pivotal point. The entire circle of spiritual advancement rotates around this central point. The Sadhana leads to spiritual perceptions, and these spiritual experiences deepen the faith and reverence in meditation, in God, and in Sadhana power. This increase in conviction deepens the Sadhana belief and one starts getting new sensations daily. These feelings take one to the higher level of spiritual dynamics. Cognition, Faith and Sadhana are parts of the same circle, and are completely attached to each other. Perception leads to faith, faith to mental strength and deeper mental strength leads to deeper perceptions, which in turn leads to deeper trust and confidence.

Fifth level – Trust

Sensation … Consciousness … Perception … this steady increase causes deeper trust. A strong feeling comes in the mind that our path is appropriate, it is the best path. One develops unwavering faith towards Guru and God, and this leads to further joy in performing Sadhanas. The new novel perceptions produce mental peace and calm. The aura develops, the face starts radiating with vitality along with calmness.

Sixth level – The Spiritual Sense

The Spiritual Spirit means an ever-realization of, ever-consciousness of the presence of Guru and God around your surroundings and your daily tasks and actions. This realization occurs only through deeper and deeper levels of faith and trust. One keeps getting signals that the Guru is always with me, God is always with me. Guru is witness to all my actions. His subtle presence is always with me at each moment. I can continually experience Him in my psyche.

Seventh Level – Devotion

When one starts experiencing Guru in the form of God and God in the form of Guru, then, the Sadhak dives into the ocean of devotion. This devoutness terminates the feeling of “yours and mine,” The feeling that I am different from God gets eliminated completely. The devotion grants us the experience that we are an integral part of the Guru, that we are part and parcel of God. The Guru is ever-present in our psyche, and God is always with me at all the time. This all is a sense of devotion.

Eighth Level – Enlightenment – Self-Realization

Wisdom, faith, Sadhana-meditation, experience, trust and devotion to the spiritual sense culminates in the achievement of the Final stage by the Sadhak and this stage is “The Enlightenment”. The Self-Realization is another form of Enlightenment. When everything unites together and when we mentally merge with the God through love. We move away from the feelings of happiness-distress. We lose in ourselves, there is ever-present joy, this is the state of trance, of Samadhi, when all Chakras of Kundalini gets activated, and we not only develop contact with, rather merge with the Supreme Guru.

This is the Eternal Bliss, this is the Divine Ecstasy…

Provide spiritual support

Every person has knowledge, but it is important to provide proper guidance to this flow of knowledge. It is essential to lead this knowledge to the Spiritual sense. It is important for disciple to inspire Sadhaks, to give them the required spiritual support. The distribution of Guru-literature, the Guru-magazine to common-folk by wise disciples is the spiritual support. The Spiritual support implies involving self and performing actions for the advancement of others, as well as of self. This can be done at any level, in any form at any place. This action must be accompanied by a feeling in your mind that I have to spread the Guru-knowledge, the Guru-literature to thousands of people.

Always remember that the path of Sadhana initiates from the intellectual knowledge, i.e. Guru-literature. Guru-wisdom is the main backbone.
